Including a photo in your email signature is a great way to personalize it and make it stand out. Add a headshot to make your professional emails more personable, or a photo of your logo if you’re part of a business or brand team. In this article, we’ll show you how to insert an image into your email signature in Gmail on a computer.

Steps

  1. 1
Download or save your photo. Before you start, make sure the photo you’re using is downloaded on your laptop. You may need to import one from your camera or phone.
    • When you’re downloading the photo, give the file a recognizable name so you can easily find it later.
  2. 2
Click the gear icon in Gmail. From the homepage of your Gmail account, you'll find this icon towards the top right corner of your screen.
