How to Switch Twitter Accounts

You can make multiple accounts on Twitter and switch between them easily. This wikiHow teaches you how to switch Twitter accounts from the mobile app or web browser.

Using the Mobile App

    Open Twitter. This icon looks like a white bird on a blue background that you can find on your home screen, in the app drawer, or by searching.

    Log in with another account. If you're only signed in with one account, you can sign in with up to 5 additional accounts and switch between them frequently. Here's how to sign in to another account:[1]
    • Tap your profile icon at the top-left corner.
    • Tap the three dots on top of the menu.
    • Tap Add an existing account to sign in with an account you already have, or Create a new account to make a new one.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions in order to add another account to your Twitter app.

    Tap your profile icon at the top-left corner. A menu should slide out.

    Tap the other account's profile icon. The inactive Twitter account profile picture is the smaller image on the right side of the slide-out menu.

Using a Web Browser

    Go to https://twitter.com/home and sign in. You can use any web browser you want to switch between Twitter accounts.

    Log in with another account. If you're only signed in with one account, you can sign in with up to 5 additional accounts and switch between them frequently. Here's how to sign in to another account:
    • Click More in the left panel.
    • Click the three dots at the top of the left panel.
    • Click Add an existing account.
    • Enter the login information for your secondary Twitter account and click Log in.
