How to Swap Apartment Rooms on Tomodachi Life

Despite it not providing any benefit or drawback to your in-game progress, some people like to organise their apartment rooms in Tomodachi Life. This can make it easier to find certain Miis. Read on to find out how to swap apartment rooms.

Steps

Enter the Mii Apartments. The apartments are represented by a rectangular yellowish/greenish icon on your town map. It should be the largest icon and should have a picture of the apartments on it. Double tap on the icon, or tap once, then tap Enter.

Enter the office. The office is found at the very bottom of the apartments. Tap on the doors at the very bottom twice, or tap on them once, then select the Enter button.

Select the button saying Room Swap on the left. It has a picture of two figures at their apartment windows with two arrows showing they are swapping.

Double tap a window and slide it to where you want it swapped. This will swap the two rooms. You can swap with a currently empty apartment room.
- On the top screen, you will be shown a picture of the Mii and their name. Above their image, it will show you the room number. The first digit (or two for the higher floors) shows what floor they live on, the middle digit is always zero, the last digit shows where on the floor they live (with one being the furthest left and eight being the furthest right).

Press the orange arrow button at the bottom left to go back. A message will pop up saying "Are the rooms OK like this?". Either select Yes or No depending on whether or not you are satisfied.
