How to Hypnotize a Mii on Tomodachi Life

Tomodachi Life gives you the opportunity to give your Miis many different gifts. One possible gift you can give is the hypnotism set. The hypnotism set is a gift which allows you to make a Mii fall asleep temporarily and view a dream. This wikiHow shows you how to use it.

Steps

View Miis' dreams. You can view a Mii's dream by tapping on the blue cloud above them when they are asleep. In order to view a dream with the hypnotism set, you must have viewed that specific dream beforehand.
- If a Mii is taking a nap, their light will still be on in their apartment. The Mii's blinds will be closed when they are asleep for the night.
  - A Mii can also go to sleep in their house, to view dreams while they they are asleep in their house, tap their window, then select Have a dream.
  - You are more likely to see Miis' dreams at nighttime as this is when Miis tend to be asleep.

Go to the chosen Mii's apartment. Select their apartment window, then select Call or Enter. Once you enter, go to the inventory, which is the top option on the left which has a picture of a white present with a pink ribbon.

Select the hypnotism set (or hypnotizer, depending on which version you play) from the inventory. It should be in the gifts tab, which has a picture of a fan and camera. Select Give. Drag the item towards the Mii. The Mii will say "Why don't you give this a try?"

Swing the coin to make the Mii dizzy. Either move your 3DS or use a stylus to move it. Eventually the Mii will fall asleep.

Select a dream. Each dream will have a name. There are 28 different dreams, but you will only be able to view the ones you have already seen before when a Mii is asleep. Select View dream when you have chosen a dream.
- The names of the dreams vary depending on what version of the game you have. For example, the dream names in the EU and US versions are different.

View the dream. Some dreams have an end, while others go on forever. If you want to go back, press the orange button with an arrow on the bottom left of the touch screen to take you back. The Mii will be confused for a moment, then the Mii's XP will increase slightly, along with your money.
