This wikiHow teaches you how to disable emails from Twitter when you’re using an iPhone or iPad.

Steps

  1. 1
Open your iPhone or iPad’s web browser. The default is Safari, which is a red, white, and blue compass icon on the home screen. If you use a different browser, open that now.
  2. 2
Navigate to https://www.twitter.com. This opens the Twitter website. Since it’s not possible to change your email preferences in the app, you’ll need to use the website.
  3. 3
Tap Log in. The sign-in screen will appear.
  4. 4
Sign in to Twitter. Enter your Twitter username and password and tap Log in to continue.
  5. 5
  6. 6
Tap your profile photo. It’s the one that’s all the way at the top-right corner of the screen. A menu will drop down.
    • Depending on the size of your screen, you may need to drag the page over (or zoom out) to get to that top corner.
  7. 7
Tap Settings and privacy. It’s near the bottom of the menu.
  8. 8
Tap Email notifications. It’s in the left sidebar.
  9. 9
Tap Turn off next to “Email is enabled.” It’s near the top of the right (main) panel. Once you turn this option off, you will not receive email notifications from Twitter.
