This wikiHow teaches you how to see a list of everything you’ve searched for in the YouTube Music app on an Android phone or tablet.

Steps

  1. 1
Open YouTube Music on your Android. It’s the round red icon containing a sideways white triangle. You’ll usually find it on the home screen and in the app drawer.
    • Your search history contains a list of all items you've searched for in YouTube Music, at YouTube.com, and in the regular YouTube mobile app.
  2. 2
Tap your profile picture. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. 3
Tap Settings. It’s the option with a gear icon.
  4. 4
Tap Privacy or Privacy & location. The name of this option may be different depending on your version of YouTube Music.
  5. 5
Tap Manage search history. This displays a list of everything you’ve searched for in YouTube Music, in the YouTube app, and on YouTube.com.
    • If you don’t want YouTube Music to keep track of what you listen to or watch, tap the back button to return to the Privacy menu, and then slide the ″Pause search history″ switch to the On position. This change will only affect this Android.
