This wikiHow teaches you how to keep your YouTube Music subscriptions, playlists, and liked songs private when you’re using an Android.

Steps

  1. 1
Open YouTube Music on your Android. You’ll usually find it on the home screen and in the app drawer. Look for a round red icon containing a white triangle.
  2. 2
Tap your profile photo. It’s at the top-right corner.
  3. 3
Tap Settings. It’s the third option in the menu.
  4. 4
Tap Privacy & location. It’s near the bottom of the menu.
  5. 5
Tap Manage account privacy. It’s near the middle of the menu.
  6. 6
Check the box next to "Keep my subscriptions private." Now nobody will be able to see the artists and channels you've followed in YouTube Music, at YouTube.com, and in the standard YouTube mobile app.
    • You can also check ″Keep all my Liked Videos private" if you don’t want anyone to see what you’ve liked (or given a thumbs-up to).
    • Check ″Keep all my Saved Playlists private" if you don’t want people to see the playlists you’ve created.
