How to Post YouTube Comments on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to leave a public comment below any YouTube video, using Android.

Steps

    Open the YouTube app on your Android. The YouTube app looks like a white play button in a red rectangle icon. You can find it on your Apps menu.

    Tap a video. If you see a video you want to comment on the home page, just tap it. This will open the video on a new page.

    Scroll down to the comments section. You will have to scroll down a list of suggested videos below the main video, and find the Comments heading towards the bottom of the page.

    Tap the Add a public comment box. It's located below the Comments heading at the top of all the public comments.
    • If you're not automatically signed in to the YouTube app, tapping here will prompt you to enter your email and password to log in.

    Enter your comments into the comment box. You can use your keyboard to type comments here, or paste text from your clipboard.

    Tap the blue paper plane icon. This button is next to the comment box on the right-hand side of your screen. It will post your comment under the Comments headings below the video.

    After a video (that isn't age-restricted) there will always be some recommended videos. After these, there should be comments. If not, then it might be that the comments for that video are disabled.
