How to Save a Search on Twitter

If you have found yourself often searching for the same things on Twitter, you might want to save those searches. You'll be able to come back to them time and time again, without retyping the search.

Method 1
Method 1 of 2:
Via the Twitter Website

    Log in to the Twitter website.

    Get your pointer to focus on the Search box. Click it.
    • The search box is near the top of Twitter. Don't confuse the Search box with the "Submit a Tweet" box which lays slightly below that.

    Perform the search on Twitter as you always do. Press Enter, but don't click a specific search result yet.

    Locate the overflow menu. This consists of three small rectangular dots arranged vertically to the top right of the results, under your Profile icon. Click it.

    Click the "Save this search" option.

Via the Twitter for Android App

    Log in to the Twitter for Android app.

    Tap the "Explore" tab down near the bottom of the screen.

    Tap "Search Twitter" and perform the search you'd like to save.

    Tap the overflow menu button (three straight rectangular dots stacked vertically).

    Tap the "Save" option.

Warnings

  • You are limited to saving a search via the Twitter website and the Twitter for Android app. Neither the Twitter mobile website nor the Twitter for iPhone app has a method setup to save a search to this saved searches list.
