Part 2 of 2:Baking The Cookies
Part 2
-
1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
2Grab either 1 medium baking sheet or two small baking sheets. The cookies will be placed on the baking sheets(s) when cooking them. You may line the baking sheet(s) with parchment paper.
-
3Use a standard mixer to mix the vegan butter, vanilla extract, and dairy-alternative milk together. If you do not have a mixer, you may use a whisk to stir the ingredients together.
-
4Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl. Add the sweetener, the coconut flour, the cornstarch, the baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
-
5Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients slowly, making sure to stop and mix the combination until fully combined.
-
6Fold in the chocolate chips. Try to disperse them as evenly as possible. This will make sure all of the cookies are filled with chocolate chips.
-
7Butter the baking sheet before placing the cookies on it if you do not have parchment paper. The butter on the sheet will prevent the cookies from sticking to it.
-
8Use a cookie scooper or a tablespoon to scoop cookies onto a plate. You want to make sure that the cookies are rolled into balls nicely and evenly, that way the cookies come out about the same size as each other.
-
9Place the cookies onto the baking sheet about 1 inch apart from each other. By being apart by an inch, you are making sure that the cookies do not touch and cook together.
-
10Push down the cookies with the back of a spoon. Flattening them so they cook more evenly. You may use a spoon or clean hands to form the cookies into nicer circles if they begin to crack and spread apart.
-
11Bake the cookies in the oven for 15-20 minutes and/or until golden brown around the edges. This will ensure that the cookies are still soft yet firm after cooled.
-
12Take the cookies out of the oven to let them cool once they have turned a golden brown color on the edges. It is okay for the cookies to still be soft at this point.
-
13Add extra cinnamon and chocolate chips on top of the cookies after about 3 minutes of cooling. This will make the cookies pop out more and present even better!Advertisement
