How to Log Out of the Twitter App

When you're leaving your computer or mobile unattended for a while, it's always a good idea to log out of your social media accounts. Doing so gives you the peace of mind that no one will be able to sneak onto your account and embarrass you - or, worse, access your personal information.     Go to your profile page. From any screen in your browser, click your profile picture in the upper right.

    Confirm that you want to sign out by hitting "Log out". This will log you out of the main account you're using for TweetDeck.
    • If you want to remove another account from your list, instead, go to "Accounts" in the navigation bar (the icon looks like two people). Click the down arrow on the account you want to leave, and then hit "Leave this team," followed by "Leave."[3]
