    Open Viber on your Android. It’s the purple chat bubble icon with a phone receiver inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

    Tap the menu. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

    Tap Settings. It’s at the middle of the menu.

    Tap Account. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

    Tap Deactivate Account. A confirmation window will appear, letting you know that this action will erase all of your Viber data.
    • If you have Viber Out credits, they’ll remain with your account just in case you want to reactivate in the future.

    Enter your phone number. This is the number associated with your Viber account. Your country code should already be selected from the menu.

    Tap DEACTIVATE ACCOUNT. Your Viber account is now deactivated.
