How to Change Name on Viber on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to edit your display name on your Viber profile, using Android.

Steps

Open Viber on your Android. The Viber app looks like a white phone icon in a purple speech bubble on your Apps menu.
- If Viber opens up to a chat conversation, tap
  on the top-left corner, and go back to your CHATS list.

Tap the three horizontal lines icon. It will open your menu panel on the left-hand side of your screen.

Tap the EDIT button. This button is located below your profile picture in the upper-right corner of the menu panel. It will open your profile, and allow you to change your information.

Tap the white pencil icon next to your name. Your name is located in the lower-left corner of your picture on the profile page. Tapping this button will open your name in a pop-up window, and allow you to edit it.

Edit your name in the pop-up window. Here you can change parts of your current name, or delete it and enter a new one.

Tap SAVE in the pop-up window. This will save your new display name to your profile. Your contacts will now see you by your new name.
