Deleting a Twitter Account from the Twitter for iPhone app won't delete or deactivate the account. However, it will remove the account from your iPhone. Steps

Open the Twitter app on your device.

Sign in using your username and password.

Tap the "Me" button located in the bottom right part of the app. Your account information will be displayed.

Click on the "Accounts" button. It should have an image of two silhouettes.

Choose your account. Slide to the left so that a "Remove" button will appear.

Click on the "Remove" button. You will then be directed to the sign in window.

Double-check if the account has been removed. Go to the Home window and open the Settings icon. Open the Twitter app. The username and password should be blank.
