This wikiHow teaches you how to delete an old message from a personal or group chat conversation on Viber, using Android.
Steps

1Open Viber Messenger on your Android. The Viber app looks like a purple speech balloon and a white telephone icon on your Apps menu.

2Tap the CHATS tab. This button is next to CONTACTS in the upper-left corner of your screen. You can find all your recent chats here.Advertisement

3Tap a chat. Find the chat you want to edit on your CHATS list, and tap on it. This will open the conversation in full-screen.

4Tap and hold the message you want to delete. Find the chat message you want to delete in the conversation, and long-press on the message bubble to see your options.

5Tap Delete for everyone. This option will delete the selected message from the chat conversation.
- Alternatively, you can select Delete for myself. This option will only delete the message from your own device. This way, your contact can still see the message on their phone, tablet, or computer.
- If you want to delete a message sent by somebody else, you can only delete it for yourself. You can't delete others' messages for everyone.

6Tap YES to confirm. This will confirm your action, and delete the selected chat message from the conversation.Advertisement
