Adding your location on Twitter will let your followers know where you're tweeting from, whether you're a homebody or permanently on the move. When you tweet with a location, Twitter stores that location information. If you're concerned about the privacy and security implications of this, you can still clear your location history. Read on to learn how.
Steps
-
1Go to Twitter. If you aren't signed in already, sign in with your username/email and password.
-
2Open Settings. Move your mouse to your profile picture (on the top) and select Settings and privacy.
-
3Select Privacy and safety from the left side.
-
4Delete your location history by clicking on Delete location information and confirming your action.
-
5Finished. Now location information will be removed from your all tweets. This may take up to 30 minutes.
