Steps

1Go to https://web.groupme.com in a web browser. If you're not already signed into GroupMe, type your login information and click Log in now.

2Click a group chat. They are listed along the left side of the screen.

3Click the downward-pointing arrow next to the group's name. It's at the top of the chat.

4Click the pencil icon. It's to the right of the current topic.

5Type a new topic. Topics can be up to 250 characters long.

6Click the check mark. It's at the bottom-right corner of the box in which you're typing. The new topic is saved.
