This wikiHow teaches you how to save a location to Google Maps on an Android phone or tablet.
Steps

1Open Google Maps. It’s the icon that looks like a map typically located in the app drawer.

2Navigate to the place you want to save. You can do this by dragging the map around with your finger, or by entering an address into the search bar.

3Tap and hold the place. A red pin will appear at that location.

4Tap the red pin. Additional information about that place will appear.

5Tap Save. It’s the first icon on the left side of the screen.

6Select a list. The lists at the bottom of the screen are different places to save your locations. Select the list that best suits the location, or choose + New List to create a new one. Your place is now saved to the selected list.
