This wikiHow teaches you how to suggest edits for Google Maps locations, including business hours and contact information, when you’re using an Android.

Steps

    Open Google Maps on your Android. It’s the map icon with a white “G” and red pushpin inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

    Tap the location you want to edit. The name of the place will appear at the bottom of the screen.

    Swipe up on the information panel at the bottom of the screen. Additional information will appear.

    Tap . It’s at the top-right corner of the screen. A menu will appear.

    Tap Suggest an edit. It’s the third option. A pop-up will appear.

    Tap Change name or other details. If the location does not exist, you can select Remove this place instead.

    Enter your suggested edits. You can request an edit to the business’s name, operating hours, phone number, official website, or phone number. To add a photo of the business, tap + under “Photos,” then select an image from your Android.
    • If you are reporting a place as non-existent, select your reason for removal from the drop-down menu.

    Tap Done. Your suggested edits will be reviewed and then implemented if valid.
