How to Add Accounts on Twitter on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to add a second Twitter account to an Android phone or tablet.

Adding a Second Account

    Open Twitter. It’s the blue icon with a white bird. You’ll typically find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.
    • If you’re not already signed in to Twitter, tap Log in to sign in now.

    Tap on the ≡ menu button. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.

    Tap your account’s name. It’s right beneath your profile picture. Two new links will appear.

    Tap Add an existing account. This brings you to the "Log in to Twitter" screen.

    Type the username and password for your other account. The username can be the Twitter handle, phone number, or email address associated with the account.

    Tap Log in. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the screen. Once the password is accepted, you will be logged in to both Twitter accounts.

Switching Between Accounts

    Open Twitter. It’s the blue icon with a white bird. Now that you’ve added a second account, you can switch between the two whenever you want.

    Tap your profile photo. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.

    Tap your account name. This is the Twitter name you’re currently using. A pop-up will appear.

    Tap the account you want to use. You are now signed in to your other account.
