How to Use the Honey App on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to create a profile and start video chatting with people on the Honey app, using Android. The Honey app allows you to video chat with people from around the world.

Part 1

Part 1 of 4:
Creating a Profile

Open Honey on your Android. The Honey app looks like a bee icon on a blue background. You can find it on your Apps menu.

Tap the Sign Up with Email button. This is an orange button at the bottom. It will allow you to create a new account.
- If you already have an account, tap the Log In button to sign in.

Enter your email and an account password. You will have to use this email address and password combination to log in to your Honey account in the future.

Tap Create Account. This will prompt you to fill out your profile on a new page.

Upload a profile picture. Tap the "+" button at the top, and select an image from your gallery as your profile picture.

Fill out your profile. You will have to enter your name, age, location, and a short bio here.
- If you're prompted to allow the app access to your location, tap Allow.

Tap the Create Profile button. You can find it at the bottom of the page. It will save your information, and take you to a random video chat.

Part 2

Part 2 of 4:
Chatting with People

Tap Allow to allow Honey access to your camera and microphone. You will have to enable access to these features in order to video chat with people.

Chat with a random person. When your profile is complete, you're automatically matched with a new person in a video chat.
- If you don't want to video chat with this person, tap Skip at the bottom.

Tap Global on the top-left. This will open your region options.

Select the regions you want to match and chat with. You'll only be matched with users from your selected region.
- Select the regions you want.
- Tap Ok.

Tap the gender filter at the top. You can find this option next to the region button at the top.
- Here, you can select to get matched with only Male or Female users, or just select Anyone.

Part 3 of 4:
Browsing Older Chats

Tap your Android's back button. This will quit the match screen, and open the Chat page. You can see all your recent conversations here.
- You can also open this page by tapping the speech balloon icon on the bottom-left.

Select a person to chat. You can open a chat from your recent chats list, or tap a user from the "Featured Users" list at the top.

Tap the
icon. You can find it on a navigation bar at the bottom of your screen. You can search your friends by username on the search page.

Tap the clock icon at the bottom. It's located between the search and the speech balloon icons. It will open your video chat history.
- Here, you can see a list of all the people you've talked with.

Tap the marketplace icon on the bottom-right. You can purchase coins here to buy premium features in the app.

Part 4 of 4:
Editing Your Profile

Tap your profile picture thumbnail on the top-left. This will open your profile on a new page.
- If you don't have a picture, you'll see a gray figurehead icon here.

Tap the orange Edit Profile button. This button is located at the bottom of your screen. It will allow you to edit your profile information.

Tap Update Profile at the bottom. When you're done editing your information, tap this button to save and publish your new profile.
