1Open your iPhone's Settings. This is the grey gear icon on home screen.

3Select Password. This is the fifth option from the top of the screen in the "Notes" menu.
- If you haven't created a password for your Notes yet, you'll need to fill out the Password, Verify (type your password again), and Hint fields listed here to continue.

4Slide the Use Touch ID switch right to the "On" position. It will turn green. If this option is greyed out, you'll need to set up your Touch ID first.

5Type in your Notes password.
