How to Upload Videos to Steam on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to share videos to your Steam account from an Android phone or tablet. You’ll need to upload the video to your YouTube channel and then link your YouTube account with Steam.

Steps

Upload the video to your YouTube account. Steam doesn’t allow you to directly upload a video from your Android to your account. To learn how to upload your video to YouTube, see Upload a Video to YouTube.

Open Steam on your Android. It’s the blue and white game controller icon typically found in the app drawer.
- If you’re not signed in to Steam, type your username and password and then tap Sign in.
- If prompted, enter the Steam Guard code to complete the login.

Tap the ≡ menu. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.

Scroll down and tap You & Friends. It’s near the middle of the menu. The menu will expand.

Tap Profile. This opens your profile page and activity.

Tap Videos. You may have to scroll down a little bit to find it.

Tap Link YouTube Account. It’s to the left of the “Manage Videos” button.

Scroll down and tap Access your YouTube videos. It’s the green button near the bottom-right corner of the page. This opens the Google sign-in screen.

Select the Google account you use to access YouTube. A confirmation message will appear, asking if you want to allow Steam to access your Google Account.

Tap ALLOW. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the screen. You’ll see a message that says “Successfully linked your YouTube account,” as well as a list of your videos.

Tap the video you want to upload to Steam. You can select more than one if you wish.

Associate the videos with a game (optional). If the video has something to do with one of your Steam games (such as gameplay), follow these steps:
- Scroll down to the “2. Associate the video(s) with a game” section (below the video list).
- Tap the down-arrow next to the menu.
- Tap the game to select it.
- If the game isn’t in the list, select none/other (specify below), then type the game’s title into the “Other/Unlisted” box.

Tap Add video. It’s the green button under “3. Add it to your profile.” This uploads the video(s) to steam.
