This wikiHow teaches you how to remove a pinned item from a Slack channel on an Android.
Steps

1Open Slack. It’s the black “S” on a multicolored background that’s typically found on the home screen.
- If you unpin an item that was pinned by another member, they’ll be notified of your change via Slackbot.[1]

2Tap the channel that contains the pinned message. This opens the channel.

3Tap the channel’s name. It’s at the top of the channel. This opens the "Channel details" menu.

4Tap and hold the pinned item. Pinned items appear under the “Pinned Items” header. You may have to scroll down to find it. A confirmation message will appear.

5Tap Remove. The selected message is no longer pinned to the top of the Slack channel.
