How to Uninstall a Windows Update

This wikiHow teaches you how to remove an installed Windows Update from your Windows 10 PC.

Steps

    Press ⊞ Win+i. This opens your Settings.

    Click Update & Security. It’s the icon with two curved arrows.

    Click View installed update history. It’s under the “Check for updates” button near the top of the center panel.

    Click Uninstall updates. It’s under the “View installed update history” header.

    Right-click the update you want to remove.

    Click Uninstall. A confirmation message will appear.

    Click Yes. This update will be removed from your PC. Restart your PC when prompted to complete the removal.
