How to Track a Samsung Phone

This wikiHow teaches you how to enable the location tracking feature on your Samsung phone, and find your phone's exact location on a map in a desktop internet browser.

Setting Up Find My Mobile

Open your Samsung's Settings app. Find and tap the
icon on your Apps menu to open Settings.
- Alternatively, swipe down the notification bar from the top of your screen, and tap the
  icon here.

Scroll down and tap Lock screen and security. This option is listed next to a purple padlock icon on the Settings menu.

Tap Find my mobile. This option will open your tracking options on a new page.

Slide the Send last location switch to
. When this option is enabled, your Samsung automatically uploads its current location to the Find My Mobile server.

Finding Your Phone

Open the Find My Mobile page in your internet browser. Type findmymobile.samsung.com into the address bar, and hit ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return on your keyboard.

Click the SIGN IN button. This is a blue button in the middle of the page. It will open the sign-in form.

Sign into your Samsung account. This will open a map with all your registered and online devices.
- Enter the email or phone number associated with your Samsung account.
- Enter your account password.
- Click and check the
  box next to the Captcha.
- Click SIGN IN.

Find your phone on the map. Your phone's most recent location is marked with a blue location pin on the map here.
- You can see the exact time and date this location was uploaded in the upper-left corner of the map.

Click the RING MY DEVICE button. This button is in the upper-right corner of the map. It will play a loud ringtone sound on your phone to help you find it.
