This wikiHow teaches you how to add a tip for your DoorDash driver when placing an order on your Android.
Steps

1Open DoorDash on your Android. You'll usually find the app on the home screen or in the app drawer. Look for a white icon with a curved red line inside.

2Browse or search for a restaurant.
- To browse by cuisine, tap one of the options that run along the top of the screen, and then tap a restaurant.
- To search for a restaurant, tap the magnifying glass at the top-right corner of the screen, enter your search terms, then tap a restaurant.

3Add items to the cart. Tap an item category to see what's inside, then tap an item to view its details. To order the item, tap Add to Cart at the bottom of the screen.
- Some items have customization options, such as ″dressing on the side″ or ″add chicken.″ Customize your order before adding it to the cart.

4Tap the cart icon when you're ready to check out. It's in the red circle at the bottom-right corner of the screen. A list of items in your order will appear.

5Make any final edits to the cart and tap Checkout.
- To add or remove item customizations, tap the item, then make your changes.
- To remove items from the cart, tap the EDIT button at the top-right corner of the screen, select items to remove, and then tap DELETE.
- If you have a promo code, tap Promo Code to enter it now.

6Tap Checkout. It's at the bottom of the screen.

7Complete your order. After verifying the total and address, follow the on-screen instructions to complete your order.

8Select a payment method. To do so, tap Payment, then choose one of the options you've added.
- To add a new card, tap ADD at the top-right corner of the screen, enter the card details, then tap Add Card.

9Select a tip amount. 100% of the amount you tip will be given to your driver. You have several options for leaving a tip under the ″Dasher Tip″ header:
- DoorDash selects a tip amount by default—it's the amount highlighted in red. You can leave that option selected if you'd like to tip that amount.
- Tap another one of the suggested amounts to switch to a different amount.
- To enter a custom tip amount, tap Other, enter your desired amount (in dollars), and then tap OKAY.

10Review the total and tap Place Order. The order total recalculates once you add a tip. Your default payment method will be charged for the total amount of the order.
