How to Switch Google Accounts on Galaxy

This wikiHow teaches you how to switch between accounts in any Google app on your Samsung Galaxy.

Switching in Google Apps

Open a Google app. You can switch between Google accounts in any Google app, such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Maps. The steps will be similar, though some icons and locations may vary.

Tap ≡. It’s at the top-left corner of the app. This expands the app’s menu.

Tap your email address. It’s either at the top or bottom of the menu on the left side of the screen.

Tap the account you want to switch to. If you see another email address listed, tap it to switch to that account, and then enter your password to sign in. If not, continue with this method.

Tap Add account. You’ll only need to do this if you didn’t switch to another account by tapping a different account name. A login screen will appear.

Enter the email address for the other account and tap NEXT.

Enter the password and tap NEXT. Now you are logged in to the app with this account instead.
- To switch between accounts, tap ≡, tap your email address, then tap the other account.

Switching in a Web Browser

Open a web browser on your Samsung Galaxy. You can use any web browser to access Google products on the web, including Samsung’s Internet browser or Google Chrome.

Navigate to the Google site where you want to switch accounts. For example, to switch accounts on the main Google search, navigate to https://www.google.com.

Tap your profile photo. It’s at the top-right corner of the page.

Tap the account you want to use. If you see the account you want to use on this screen, tap it to switch to that account. If not, skip to the next step.

Tap Manage accounts.

Tap Sign out. You are now signed out of your account.

Enter the email address for the other account and tap NEXT.

Enter the password and tap NEXT. Now you are logged in to the app with this account instead.
