How to Survive the End in Minecraft

The End is the final world in Minecraft: there, by defeating the Ender Dragon, you win the game. But there are many dangers in the End; in addition to the Ender Dragon there are many Enderman on the ground. This article will teach you how to survive in the End!

Steps

Gather up materials. You will need fighting equipment, including a bow (with the Infinity enchantment, if possible), a lot of arrows (at least 128), diamond sword and a shield (Java and Legacy Console editions). Armour is advised, but not required. Obsidian, iron bars and barriers can also come in handy because the Ender Dragon can't destroy these materials.

Find the End Portal. When you have found the portal, make a bed so if you die, you'll respawn there.

Enter the End portal. It should load a bit, and then you should appear on a floating egg-shaped island of end stone in an area known as the Void.
- Mine some End stone. It's blast resistant and can come in handy later on.

Don't annoy the endermen. This means that you shouldn't hit them or look at them. If you have provoked an enderman, try hiding before attempting to kill it
- If you wear a pumpkin on your head, endermen won't become hostile when you look at them. However, pumpkins greatly reduce your field of vision, which can be a major drawback during combat.

Be aware that the ender dragon will try to attack you. Before you attack her, destroy the beacons found on the obsidian towers with your bow or any other material that can be fired or thrown; the crystals do heal him. It usually attacks you when you are not looking at it, so if you want a chance of hitting it with your diamond sword, look away from it and wait about 6 seconds, then quickly turn towards it: it should be charging towards you.

Build ender totems. Ender totems are small towers (2-3 blocks tall) made from ender-resistant material such as iron bars or obsidian. These can be used as resting stations too hide behind for a couple of seconds before resuming combat.Also,keep making Ender Totems around the ender dragons perch,not to far apart,but not to close.

Damage the Ender Dragon. Keep hitting her with your bow and sword until she dies. When you do kill her, a portal should appear; you have won Minecraft!

Bring extra enderpearls and some potions of slow falling with you to the end. To make a potion of slow falling, you need a brewing stand, nether wart, bottles of water, blaze powder, and phantom membranes. Place the blaze powder, nether wart, and water bottles in the brewing stand and wait for it to brew into an awkward potion. Then add the phantom membranes, which are obtained by killing phantoms. A potion of slow falling will make you fall slower and will prevent fall damage, but not damage from the void. It gives you more time to use an ender pearl to teleport back onto the main end island.
