    Open Facebook on your mobile phone or tablet. It’s the blue icon with a white ″f″ inside. You’ll usually find it on your home screen.

    Go to the profile of the person you want to stop seeing notifications from. You can find the profile by searching for their name in the search bar.

    Tap Friends. It’s near the bottom-left corner of your friend’s profile photo.

    Tap Edit Friend Lists. A list of your friend lists will appear.

    Tap Acquaintances. Now that your friend is added to this list, you will no longer receive notifications of their posts and actions on Facebook.

    Scroll down and tap Settings (iPhone and iPad only). If you’re using an Android, skip to the next step.

    Tap Account Settings. If you’re using an Android, you’ll have to scroll down to the bottom of the menu to find it.

    Tap Notifications.

    Tap Close Friends activity.
  7. 7
    Remove the check mark from ″Get notifications." You will no longer be notified of your friends’ new posts and interactions on Facebook.
