Sharing Your Own Post

    Open Instagram on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the purple, pink, and yellow camera icon typically found on the home screen.

    Connect your Instagram account to Facebook. If you haven’t already done so, here’s how to do it now:
    • Tap the profile icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
    • Tap the gear icon.
    • Tap Facebook.
    • Tap Continue.
    • Sign in to your Facebook account.

    Tap +. It’s at the bottom-center part of the screen. This creates a new Instagram post.

    Select a photo or video and tap Next. If you prefer to take a new photo or video, tap one of those options at the bottom of the screen, then capture your desired image or movie.

    Add a filter. If you’d like, swipe through the filters at the bottom of the screen, then tap the one you want to use.

    Enter a caption and additional details. If you’d like to include some text with your post, type it into the large typing area. You can also add a location and tags if you wish.

    Open Instagram on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the purple, pink, and yellow camera icon typically found on the home screen.

    Scroll to the post you want to share.

    Tap on the post.

    Tap Share to Facebook.

    Sign into Facebook. If you haven’t already connected Instagram to Facebook, you’ll have to complete this step to do so now.

    Type a message about the post you’re sharing.

    Adjust the post settings. You can change the privacy settings for this post, tag your friends, add a status, and/or set a location.

    Tap Post. This shares the Instagram post on your Facebook timeline.
