- The Greek word for “please” is “Παρακαλώ.”
- Pronounce it “para-kah-LOE” and stress the last syllable since it has an accent.
- Add “Παρακαλώ” to the end of a phrase when you ask for anything from directions to a menu to demonstrate politeness.
