How to Save Telegram Gifs on PC or Mac

This wikiHow teaches you how to save GIFs in Telegram on your Windows or macOS computer.

Steps

    Open Telegram. If you’re using a Mac, you’ll usually find it in the Applications folder. If you have Windows, it should be in the Windows.

    Click the conversation that contains the GIF. Conversations appear along the left side of the window.

    Right-click the GIF you want to save. If your computer doesn’t have a right mouse button, hold Control as you click with the left.

    Click Save GIF. This saves the GIF to Telegram.
    • To insert a saved GIF into a conversation, click the emoji button (the smiley face) at the bottom of the conversation, click the GIFS tab, then select the GIF.
    • To download the GIF to your computer, select Save As instead of Save GIF. You’ll be able to select a save location and rename the file, if you wish.
