This wikiHow teaches you how to rotate your Windows PC’s screen back to its original orientation.

Steps

  1. 1
Press Ctrl+Alt+ on the keyboard. If your screen is facing the wrong direction, this may restore it to normal (landscape) mode. If this doesn’t do the trick, move to the next step.
  2. 2
Press Win+D. This brings you to your desktop.
  3. 3
Right-click a blank part of the desktop. A menu will appear.
  4. 4
Click Display Settings. It’s usually toward the bottom of the menu.
  5. 5
Click the “Orientation” drop-down menu. A list of options will appear.
  6. 6
Click Landscape. This rotates the screen back into the standard position. If it doesn’t look right, try one of the other options.
  7. 7
Click Apply. A confirmation message will appear.
  8. 8
Click Keep Changes. Or, if you’re not happy with the change, click Revert to try another option.
