2Scroll down and tap General.Advertisement

3Scroll down and tap Profile.

4Tap the iOS Beta profile.

5Tap Remove profile. A security screen will appear.

6Enter your passcode or use Touch ID. A confirmation message will appear once you’re authenticated.

7Tap Delete. You will no longer receive new beta updates. Now that you’re no longer enrolled, you can uninstall the beta.Advertisement

Part 2 of 2:Uninstalling iOS Beta

1Make sure you’re using the latest version of iTunes on your computer. See Update iTunes to learn how.

2Connect the iPhone to the computer. Use the cable that came with your iPhone or on that’s compatible.

3Put the iPhone into recovery mode. The steps vary by model:
- iPhone 8 to X: Press and (quickly) release the Volume Up button. Then, press and release quickly the Volume Down button. Last, press and hold the side button until you see the recovery mode screen.
- iPhone 7 and 7 Plus: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons at the same time. Don't release the buttons when you see the Apple logo—continue holding them until you see the recovery mode screen.
- iPhone 6s and earlier: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. Don't release the buttons when you see the Apple logo—continue holding them until you see the recovery mode screen.

4Click Restore. This erases everything on the iPhone and replaces it with the non-beta version of iOS.

5Complete the installation. If prompted to enter your Apple ID and password, you should do so to disable Activation Lock.
- Once the restore is complete, you can set up your iPhone as new and/or restore from a backup.
