This wikiHow teaches you how to post an image to a Slack channel using an Android phone or tablet.

Steps

    Open Slack. It’s the black “S” on a pink, blue, green, and yellow background.
  2. 2
    Tap your user icon. It’s your profile photo or first initial at the top-left corner of the screen.
  3. 3
    Select a channel.
  4. 4
    Tap the image icon. It’s the two overlapping photographs at the bottom of the screen. This opens your Android’s gallery.
    • If you’d rather take a new picture, tap the camera icon, then take your photo.
  5. 5
    Tap the image you wish to upload. The image will appear in the message box.
  6. 6
    Type a message. This is optional, but you can also include text to appear alongside the image.
  7. 7
    Tap the send button. It’s the blue paper airplane icon at the far-right edge of the typing area. The image now appears in the conversation.
