This wikiHow teaches you how to create appointments in Google Calendar and Appointfix on an Android phone or tablet.

1Open Google Calendar. Tap the Google Calendar app icon, which resembles the number 31 on a blue background.
- If you don't have Google Calendar, first download it from Google Play.

2Tap ☰. It's in the top-left corner of the screen. A pop-out window will appear.

3Tap Month. This will take you to a view of the current month's days.
- You can swipe from right to left across the month to move forward one month, or swipe left to right to move back one month.

4Select a day. Tap a day on which you want to schedule an appointment. You'll see a message pop up.

6Enter your appointment's details. Add the following information:
- All day - Leave this alone if the appointment isn't an all-day event, or tap the switch to the right of "All day" to block off the whole day.
- Start time - Tap the first time, then change it to reflect the appointment's start time (e.g., 11:00 AM).

End time - Tap the second time, then change it to the appointment's end time (e.g., 2:00 PM).
- You can tap More options here to select a time zone.
- Location - Tap Add location, then type in an address or a location.
- Participants - Tap Invite people, then select people from your contacts to invite. They will receive invitations to add the appointment to their calendars.

Color - Select a color for this appointment's icon. This is the color you'll see on the calendar day.
- Select one color for one type of appointment to increase the organization.

Note - Tap Add note, then enter any information that will help identify or give context to the appointment (for example, if you're supposed to present something, make a note of it).
- You can also tap Add attachment to attach a document from Google Drive.

7Tap SAVE. It's in the top-right corner of the screen. This will save your appointment and add it to your Google Calendar.

8Add more appointments. You can easily organize your appointments by applying a specific color to one type of appointments (e.g., work), another color to personal appointments, and so on.
- Your Google Calendar is accessible from any smartphone or tablet with Google Calendar on it, as well as any computer. All you have to do to access it is sign in with the same Google email address that you use on your Android.

2Open Appointfix. Tap OPEN on the right side of the Google Play screen.
- If you already had Appointfix installed, tap the white-and-green checkmark app icon in your Android's App Drawer.

3Tap CREATE ACCOUNT. It's at the bottom of the screen. Doing so will bring up the account creation page.
- If you already have an account, tap SIGN IN, enter your email address and password, and skip ahead to the "Tap +" step.

4Enter your account details. Fill out the following fields:
- Your email - Make sure you enter a working email address to which you have current access.
- Create password - Use a strong, unique password for this account.
- Your country - Tap this box, then select your current country.

5Tap CREATE ACCOUNT. It's at the bottom of the screen.

6Choose whether or not to sync Appointfix with Google Calendar. Tap the Google Calendar icon to import any appointments from Google Calendar into Appointfix, or tap SKIP at the bottom of the screen to pass.
- This is helpful if you have multiple appointments already listed in Google Calendar.
- If you choose to sync Google Calendar with Appointfix, you'll select an account to use and then follow the on-screen syncing instructions if prompted.

7Create a profile. Fill out the following fields:
- Your name
- Business name (optional)
- Your phone number

8Tap DONE. This green button is at the bottom of the screen. Doing so will create your profile and set you up for SMS reminders.
- You can also tap SKIP here if you don't want to receive SMS reminders.

9Tap +. It's in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

10Add appointment details. Enter the following information:
- Client - Tap the text field at the top of the screen, then enter the name of the person with whom the appointment is and tap ADD NEW CLIENT.
- Date and Time - Tap the current date and then select the appointment's date, then tap the time and select the appointment's time.
- Service - Tap ADD ANOTHER SERVICE, then type in the appointment's reason or the service you'll provide.
- Cost - Enter a cost for your services (if applicable).
- Notes - Add any information that will help organize the appointment (for example, if you're supposed to bring something to the appointment, make a note of it).

11Tap SAVE. It's in the top-right corner of the screen. This will save your appointment and add it to your Appointfix roster.

12View a month's appointments. Tap the current month (e.g., September) in the upper-left side of the screen. This will zoom Appointfix out to show all days of the month.
- Days with a green spot (or several green spots) are days with appointments listed.
- The default view in Appointfix is the current day.

13Change the month. Swipe from right to left across the calendar to move forward a month, or swipe from left to right to move back one month.

14Select a day. Tap a day on which you would like to enter an appointment.

15Tap the month again. This will place you back in day view for your selected day. You can add an appointment here by tapping + and repeating the "Add" process, or you can view your other appointments for this day by tapping them.
Warnings
- Some optional features of Appointfix aren't available unless you buy the "Pro" version. This won't interfere with your ability to create appointments, but it means you won't be able to customize the appointments' appearance and organization as much.Thanks!
