This wikiHow teaches you how to mute notifications from certain Signal conversations when you’re using an Android.
Steps

1Open Signal. It’s the blue icon with a white speech bubble inside. You’ll find it either on your home screen or in the app drawer.

2Tap the conversation you want to mute. This can be a conversation with one person or a group conversation.

3Tap ⁝. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

4Tap Mute notifications.

5Select a duration. Choose 1 hour, 2 hours, 1 day, 7 days, or 1 year. Once you make your selection, new notifications from this conversation will be muted for that period of time. You can still view and reply to the chat, but you won’t be notified when your contacts do the same.
