This wikiHow teaches you how to move an Android app to an SD card. This option may not be available for all of your apps.
Steps
-
1Open your Android's Settings. It has a gear icon that's either gray or white. If you don't see it on the home screen, you'll find it in the app drawer.
-
2Scroll down and tap Apps. Depending on your version of Android, this option may be called “Application Manager.”
-
3Tap the app you want to move to the SD card.
-
4Tap Storage.
-
5Tap Change. You'll only see this button (at the top of the screen) if the app can be moved to an SD card. If you don't see it, the app cannot be moved.[1]
-
6Select your SD card.
-
7Tap Move. The app will now move to the SD card. Be sure not to remove the SD card during this process.
