How to Merge Albums on Google Photos on iPhone or iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to combine two albums in Google Photos on your iPhone or iPad.

Steps

    Open Google Photos on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the white icon with a multicolored pinwheel inside. You’ll usually find it on your home screen.

    Tap Albums. It’s at the bottom of the screen.

    Select an album to merge. This opens the album.

    Tap ⋯. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

    Tap Select photos. Each photo in the album now has a circle at its top-left corner.

    Select each photo you want to merge. A check mark will appear on each photo.

    Select an album to merge with. The selected photos are now merged into that album.
    • You can delete the original album to complete the merge.
