This wikiHow teaches you how to create a multiple-choice poll in a LINE group when you’re using an Android.

Steps

    Open LINE. It’s a green icon with a white speech bubble inside. You’ll usually find it in the app drawer.

    Tap the chat icon. It’s the speech bubble with three dots inside near the top-left corner of the screen.

    Tap the New Chat icon. It’s a speech bubble containing three dots and a plus (+). It’s near the top-right corner of the screen.

    Select participants for the poll. Tapping the empty square near each contact’s name adds a check mark, which means they’ll be added to the group.

    Tap Chat. It’s the green button at the bottom of the screen. A group chat containing the selected participants is now active.

    Tap +. It’s at the bottom-left corner of the screen. A list of icons will expand at the bottom of the screen.

    Tap Poll. It’s a green icon containing a box with a check mark.

    Type your poll question. This is what participants will be voting on.

    Enter possible answers. Type each voting choice on its own line.

    Select an end date. Tap Set closing date if you want the poll to end after a certain amount of time. You can then enter the date and time of your choice.

    Decide whether to allow multiple answers. If you want people to be able to select more than one option, tap the circle next to “Multivote.”

    Decide whether to allow anonymous responses. Check the “Anonymous votes” option if you don’t want peoples’ names attached to their votes.

    Tap Done. The poll is now created and publicized in the group. Group members can vote by clicking Vote now at the bottom of the poll announcement.
