This wikiHow teaches you how to quit a WeChat group conversation and remove it from your chats list, using Android.
Steps

1Open the WeChat app on your Android. The WeChat icon looks like two white speech balloons in a green box on your Apps menu.
- If you're not automatically signed into WeChat on your device, tap the Login button and sign in with your account credentials.

2Tap the WeChat tab. It looks like a speech balloon in the lower-left corner of your screen. This tab shows you a list of all your personal and group chat conversations.
- If WeChat opens up to a chat, tap the back button to go back to your chats list.

3Tap the name of the group you want to leave. Find the group on your chats list, and tap it. This will open the group chat conversation in full-screen.

4Tap the two figureheads icon. This button is located in the upper-right corner of the group conversation. It will open the Group Info page for this group chat.

5Scroll down and tap Delete and Leave. It's a red button at the bottom of the Group Info page. You will have to confirm your action in a pop-up window.

6Tap Quit Group in the pop-up. It will confirm you want to leave, and remove you from this group chat. The group will disappear from your chats list.Advertisement
