Meetup is a site that makes it easy to find activity groups to join. It doesn't quite make it easy or obvious to leave a group, though. This article explains the process.
Steps

1Log into Meetup at https://www.meetup.com/apps/.

2Go to the list of groups you belong to. Click on the name of the group you're leaving.

3Hover over the My Profile to trigger a drop-down menu.

4Select Leave this group.

5Confirm that you want to leave the group.
