How to Invite Friends to Cash App on iPhone or iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to invite friends to use the Cash app on iPhone and iPad. You can invite friends when you sign up for a new Cash app account, or you can tap the invite button in the profile, or notifications button. This also displays a URL you can copy and paste to invite other users over social media, email, or whatever apps you use. Right now Cash is offering a $5 reward for inviting new users to join.

Steps

Open the Cash app. The Cash app is the app that has a green icon with a white dollar sign.

Tap the profile icon. The Profile icon is a circle in the top-left and either resembles a person icon or is your profile picture.

Tap Invite Friends, Get $5. In the profile page, this option is at the top of the menu. It's below the banner with your photo, name, and Cashtag.
- You'll be prompted to connect your contacts to the Cash app if you haven't yet done so, tap OK when prompted.

Select a contact to invite. You can select names from your list of contacts or type a contact's name in the "To" field.
- You can also copy the URL at the top of the page and send it in an email, social media post, or instant message to invite others that aren't in your contacts list.

Tap Invite. It's in the upper-right corner. This opens iMessage with a pre-written invite message. You can use the pre-written message or write your own. Just make sure the URL is included in the text.

Tap the send button. It's the blue up arrow in the iPhone's messaging app. This sends the invite to the recipient(s).
