This wikiHow teaches you how to add new rows to a spreadsheet using Google Sheets for Android.
Steps
-
1Open Google Sheets. Its icon is a white table on a green background. You’ll usually find it in the app drawer.
-
2Tap the file you want to edit.
-
3Tap the row number above where you want to insert new rows. This highlights the row.
-
4Tap the new row icon. It’s the second-to-last icon at the bottom of the screen. It looks like rows with a plus (+) sign at the bottom. This inserts a new line below the selected row.
- To insert a row above the selected row, tap the last icon instead. It’s the one with the + above the row.
-
5Tap the new row icon to add additional rows. Keep tapping until you’ve added as many new rows as you wish.
-
6Tap the blue check mark. It’s near the top-left corner of the screen. Your new rows are now ready to use.
