How to Hide Viber Chats on iPhone or iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to hide a chat conversation from your Chats list on the Viber app, using an iPhone or iPad.

Steps

Open Viber on your iPhone or iPad. The Viber app looks like a white phone icon in a purple speech bubble on your home screen, or in a folder on your home screen.
- If Viber opens up to a conversation, tap the
  icon on the top-left to go back to your Chats list.

Tap the Chats icon. This button looks like a speech bubble in the lower-left corner of your screen. It will open a list of all your recent chat conversations.

Swipe left on the chat you want to hide. Your options will slide in from the right-hand side of your screen.

Tap Hide. This button looks like an eye icon. It will hide the selected chat from your Chats list.

Enter your 4-digit Viber PIN code. When you enter your Viber PIN here, the selected chat will be hidden from your Chats list.
- If you haven't already set a PIN code, tap Set PIN here, and create a 4-digit numeric PIN code for your Viber account.
- If you want to see your hidden chats later, just swipe down on your Chats list, and enter your PIN code into the search bar.

Warnings

Your Viber PIN is different than your SIM card's 4-digit PIN code. Make sure to enter the correct PIN code here.
