How to Block Someone on Viber on iPhone or iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to block a contact from calling or messaging you on the Viber app, using an iPhone or iPad.

Steps

Open Viber on your iPhone or iPad. The Viber app looks like a white phone icon in a purple speech bubble on your home screen, or in a folder on your home screen.

Tap the Contacts tab. This button looks like a figurehead icon on a navigation bar at the bottom of your screen. It will open a list of all your contacts.

Tap a contact's name on the list. This will open their profile card.
- Make sure there's a purple Viber icon next to your contact's name on the list. If you don't see this icon, it means they're not using Viber.

Tap the white pencil icon. This button is in the upper-right corner of your contact's profile. It will allow you to edit their information on your contacts list.

Tap Block this Contact. This option is at the bottom of the editing page. It will instantly block the selected contact, and prevent them from messaging or calling you.
- When you block a contact on Viber, they can still message or call you via a regular phone number. This only blocks them on the Viber app.

Tap Save. This button is in the upper-right corner of your screen. It will save your new settings.
