How to Get the Oculus App on Android

This wikiHow teaches you how to download, install, and open the Oculus virtual reality app on an Android. You can use the Oculus app to connect and use your VR hardware with your phone or tablet.

Steps

    Open the Google Play Store on your Android. Find and tap the

    Tap the search field at the top. This will allow you to enter a keyword and search the store.

    Search Oculus on the Play Store. Type "Oculus" into the search field, and tap the

    icon in the lower-right corner of your keyboard. This will search the store, and list all the matching results.

    Tap INSTALL next to the Oculus app. This is a green button below the app name and icon in the search results. It will download and install the Oculus App on your Android.
    • The Oculus app looks like a white oval circuit in a black icon. It should show up at the top of the results.

    Tap the green OPEN button. The INSTALL button will be replaced by OPEN when the installation is finished. You can tap this button and open the Oculus app.
