This wikiHow teaches you how to follow a club in the Clubhouse app. A club is a way to host regularly-occurring rooms for a common topic or group of people. When you follow a club, you'll be notified each time the club member admin a room you can join.

Steps

  1. 1
Tap the magnifying glass in Clubhouse. It's at the top-left corner. This opens the Explore page.
    • Following a club is different than being a member. Only a founder or admin of the club can add a follower as a member.[1]
    • Followers can join public club conversations, but only members can create and join private club conversations.
  2. 2
Browse or search for a club. There are two ways to find a club to follow:
    • To browse, tap one of the topics in the "FIND CONVERSATIONS ABOUT" section. Then, select a sub-topic, or scroll through the list of popular clubs in that category.
    • To search, tap the "Find People and Clubs" bar at the top of the screen. Then tap the Clubs tab so you're searching for clubs instead of people. Type the name of the club or a keyword that describes the type of club you're looking for.
  3. 3
Tap a club to view its information. Now you can view a description of the club, see how many members it has, and scroll through the member list (if it's public)
    • Some club pages may explain how to become an official club member on their info page.
  4. 4
Tap Follow to follow the club. The "Follow" button will change to "Following," which means you are now following the club. Now you'll receive a notification from Clubhouse every time a room is created for/by this club that you're permitted to join.
    • To stop following a club, return to its page and tap Following.
