How to Evolve Gible

This wikiHow teaches you how to evolve a Gible to Gabite in Pokémon GO. You will usually need 25 Gible candies to evolve a Gible. In most other Pokémon games, you will only need to get in battles with your Gible until it reaches level 24.

Steps

Open Pokémon GO on your phone or tablet. The Pokémon GO app looks like a red-and-white Pokéball in a blue square. You can find it on your home screen or on your Apps menu.

Tap the Pokéball at the bottom. You'll find a red-and-white Pokéball icon at the bottom of your standard map screen. This will open your menu on a new page.

Tap the POKÉMON button on the menu. It looks like a blue Pikachu silhouette on a white button on the bottom-left corner. Tapping will open the list of all your Pokémons.

Tap the Gible you want to evolve. Find your Gible on the Pokémon list, and tap on it. This will open your Gible's detail information on a new page.

Check the Gible candies you currently have. You can see the number of Gible candies you have below your Gible's weight and height information.
- You can see the required number of candies next to the EVOLVE button at the bottom. You will usually need 25 Gible candies to evolve.
- If you don't currently have the required candy, go on and catch more Gibles to get more Gible candies.
- If you have multiples Gibles you don't want, transfer your duplicate Gibles to Professor Willow. This will give you 1 Gible candy for each transfer.

Tap the green EVOLVE button. You can find it below the POWER UP button towards the bottom of your screen. This will instantly consume the specified amount of Gible candies and evolve your Gible to Gabite.
